Seriously, why PR this?
Cannot believe a woman actually wrote this ad … most tampon ads as we know are often boring, dull, and predictable, but this is just plain … wrong. This doesn’t make me want to switch to a J&J tampon. It makes me want to stop menstruating.
Why on earth would you post this?
I always wondered what standard of ads that lady from The Gruen Transfer did herself. Mmmmm… now I know.
Oh nooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Hope they show this the next time she’s on Gruen.
I am going back to pads now (so attractive). And I will make a point of NOT buying J&J ones after having that damn tampon image burnt into my retina.
I think a deeper insight was required.
typically reflects the standard of all Gruen panel

Confident presenters with no decent work to their name.
And please don’t start with Sampson and ‘Earth Hour’ – we all know where that came from.
Eeeeew this is garbage. I agree, why bother even putting it on here? Just awful.
Vagina says no.
Women does putting one of those tiny tampons ever feel like putting a loofer up there? seriously where did this insight come from, I think the creative must have a sensitive vag and should see a doctor, presumably the doctor wont prescribe wrapping the tampon in a shred of old wedding dress as the ad suggests.
Complete shit, went for impact, came out with dog shit.
Oh come on folks, it’s HIGHLY campaignable. I’m waiting with bated breath for:
– the barbed wire execution
– the bullet execution
– the ninja blade execution
– the red hot poker execution
– the battery acid execution (potentially more difficult to visualise, but who knows?)
Any others?
This is one hell of a turd Lowe has laid.
It’s what happens when an agency has no CD.
Well, that’s an overwhelmingly positive reaction! Food for thought, agency.
Lowe do not deserve to have this account.
Do yourself a favor J & J put it out for pitch.
There are heaps of other female creatives out there and a bunch of men that could find a better insight than this.
The blame for this drivel hangs squarely on Lowe management. Do yourselves a favour, invest in a decent ECD. There are plenty about within a 15km radius of The Rocks.
