A win for Clems, but a much bigger win for Japan at the Droga5 Advertising Industry Trivia Night

The largesse of the 140+ strong crowd extended beyond the $1,000 per table entry fee, with additional funds raised by auctioning a year’s supply of Tim Tams, generously donated by Arnott’s, a six course degustation at the Four in Hand supplied by GoodOil films and two return tickets to Japan thanks to Qantas.

While Clemenger BBDO (pictured) claimed the crown for the night, honorable mentions must go to DDB for second place and Whybin\TBWA\Tequila for third.

Screen shot 2011-04-01 at 10.37.31 AM.jpgSays Droga5 chairman David Nobay (left): “Our industry has always stepped up when needed. We might have our failings, but we’ve always been generous. And a huge thank you to the Gazebo for supplying the venue and more importantly, putting up with all of us. Cheers.”

And it doesn’t stop here. Clemenger BBDO, Melbourne is planning on hosting a trivia night in the coming weeks (and perhaps matching its Sydney counterpart’s triumph). For information contact Marnie McKenzie: Marnie.McKenzie@clemenger.com.au
