One in five Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people die from smoking-related diseases.
The Federal Government is launching the first anti-smoking campaign aimed specifically at Indigenous Australians.
One in two Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people smoke, and onein five die from smoking-related diseases. The Government says the newcampaign is part of its plan to halve the number of Indigenous smokersby 2018.

No doubt this ad will get ripped to shreds by the bloggers on this site, but with devastating statistics like these on indigenous smoking deaths, one can only hope this ad achieves its aims. Well done Paul.
the notion of ‘if I can do it so can you’ is outdated, and simply not empowering enough these days….don’t think it ever was that effective to be honest.
