Twenty20 Communications helps Momentum power Australian business via new campaign

Momentum recently appointed Twenty20 to advise on communication strategies and develop go-to-market business solutions. This has culminated in the launch of Momentum’s new brand campaign covering TV, print, digital and an upcoming MCG match day event.

The TVC and print ads feature a determined pair of rowers, battlingtheir way through rough seas while feeding out a long line of powercord.

The rowers reach land and connect the cord to Hydro Tasmania,illustrating the lengths Momentum will go to power your business.    

It is the first time Momentum has undertaken a significant marketingcampaign identifying its relationship with clean energy leader and newowner, Hydro Tasmania. The brand campaign will be followed by thelaunch of Momentum’s new renewable energy product, SmilePower. 

Twenty20 Partner and Planning Director, Rod Curtis said the campaignaimed to highlight the connection and capitalise on Momentum’s recentaccomplishments. 

“Momentum has been very successful in getting a foothold in the retailenergy business, having only started a few years ago,” he said.

“Given what they’ve achieved, the valuable association with their newowners and society’s move to a clean energy future, Momentum needed toestablish their clean credentials and create greater brand awareness.”

Momentum marketing manager, Natalie Davies said Twenty20 delivered amemorable concept that will help position the company as a leadingenergy supplier: “Clean energy has become an increasingly important choice for Australian businesses,” she said.

“This campaign confirms to prospective customers that Momentum can meettheir needs for renewable power, with the backing of an industryleader.”
