Clemenger BBDO Adelaide wins the Gold Chair at the AADC, JAM picks up 12 awards

GoldChair.jpegClemenger BBDO Adelaide picked up the Gold Chair at the Adelaide Advertising and Design Club (AADC) annual awards held earlier this week for its multi-media project “Already Home” for The Adelaide City Council.

The campaign shares the stories of locals through film, photography and written word, highlighting the unique lifestyles of those who live or work within the city of Adelaide.

The Master’s Chair, which recognises the role of Master Craftsperson and the contribution of individuals within the industry, went to Anthony De Leo from Voice studio impressed the judges with “W. Wagtail”, a Longview Vineyard wine label, for outstanding typography.

119002_Entry_Longview Vineyard_W.Wagtail_Page_2.jpgAs well as the Gold Chair, and several other awards for ‘Already Home’, Clemenger BBDOAdelaide also picked up awards for the Adelaide Film Festival’s ‘See within’,The Motor Accident Commission of South Australia Motorcycle Safety’s ‘GearUp-Body Paint’ , for Credit Union SA and for SA Lotteries ‘The guy fromAdelaide who’s giving away his lotto money on Facebook’.

JAM picked up nine AADC awards as well as three additional awards for Craft. This was won for work including Adelaide Casino’s Big Schnitzel, Repromed’s IVF Sperm Donation,the State Theatre Company’s Romeo & Juliet, Homestart’s ‘Mouse’ and ‘Fish’ TVC,The Orthodontist’s ‘Names’ and Wendy’s ‘Shake ‘n’ Dog microsite.

In other highlights, KWP! picked up four awards for Coopers Brewery across a number of categories.

Co-chair of the AADC Executive, Maggie Harris, said the quality of this year’s entries was very impressive.

“We are overwhelmed by this year’s response to the competition,” Harris said. “It’s great to see people taking pride in their work and helping to raise the bar in the local industry, which already enjoys a good reputation nationally. South Australian agencies and individuals are producing stunning work of an international standard, something we should all be very proud of in this state,” Harris said.
