Feature film Caught Inside to have U.S. premiere at SXSW Film Festival in Austin TX this month

Adam Blaiklock’s debut feature film, Caught Inside, is having its North American Premier at the SXSW film festival.
The film won the audience award at the Sydney Film Festival, The Independent Spirit Award at the If Awards and the Best Surf FIlm Award and Viewer’s Choice Award at the Surf World International Surf Film Festival, and is now having it’s North American Premiere at the South by South West Film Festival (SXSW).
“We have had enormous support from the local advertising industry in Australia, and had the pleasure of screening the film to a number of agencies as sneak previews. If anyone is out at the festival for film, music or digital, be sure to look us up,” says Flying Fish EP Paul Friedmann.

3.18 – Doesn’t advertising steal most of its ideas from popular culture ie films etc. Like 4.09 says take a chillaxitive and get down off your high horse. btw – I care, it’s good to see ad folk doing something other than selling widgets to consumers.

7.14 – did you see the film (or the trailer)? Or have you come to your conclusion based on one still image? And does low budget and low-fi (which this film patently isn’t) automatically mean crap to you? Sounds like you and 3.18 are happy to circle jerk over advertising for the rest of your lives, thankfully you might be the only ones out there so it’s not much of a circle.

Congratulations Boys. Making a feature film for a director and producer is the career Everest. It’s fantastic for our industry to see ad-folk reach these heights.
