Fenton Stephens Advertising, Melbourne recently commissioned illustrator Christopher Nielsen to complete a betting guide for bookie Tom Waterhouse to be distributed on Derby Day at Flemington Racecourse as well as online.
The booklet is full of Tom’s golden rules on how to come out on top on race day and the illustrations reflect the retro look art director Dave Lunnie was after to represent today’s sophisticated punter.

Non story. Seriously.
Nice effort. 99% of us would have got some crappy stock photos of some girls in fascinators standing on some lawn, whacked them in and sent this job off on cruise control.
Seriously, who do they buy their bog rolls from?
That would be an interesting story.
THIS JUST IN:
Copywriter finally manages to get his art director to make him a coffee.

The coffee was shit and it took ages to arrive. But it had a nice flourish on the foam.
Breakthrough work guys.
you hired an illustrator to advocate gambling on flyers.
