yellow_pencil.jpgD&AD has announced its jury panel for next year’s awards, which include four jurors from Australia. D&AD recognise the best creative work in advertising and design from around the world with the Yellow and Black Pencils.

As previously reported judges from Australia are Craig Davis, chief creative officer at Publicis Mojo as Foreman of the Integrated and Earned Media Jury and David Nobay of Droga5 leading the Outdoor Advertising jury. Joining them will be Nancy Hartley of SapientNitro, Brisbane on Digital Advertising and Gary Freedman of The Glue Society (based in New York) on Film Advertising Crafts.

In addition, Aussie expat Darren Spiller, chief creative officer of Fallon USA, is on the Outdoor jury.

The full jury details and further information on the Awards is available here.

To launch the awards, D&AD President Sanky addressed the world’s creative community in as many languages as possible, including Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Malay, and Thai. D&AD’s Behind the Scenes video shows Sanky’s journey through learning the various languages.

Work entered before 29 November 2010 will receive a 10% discount – see Sanky’s message in Korean. Eligible entries will be accepted until Monday 31 January 2011. Judging takes place from 11 to 14 April 2011 in London, with the winners set to be announced in May.
