Toby and the Geeks
Top Sydney- based ad photographer Toby Burrows was commissioned to photograph six male contestants nude in tonight’s episode of Beauty and the Geek (Channel 7 at 8.30pm). Burrows was asked to come up with the concepts and design the set for each photograph which depicts each contestant’s area of expertise.
The six portraits were shot, retouched and printed in one day on location within the grounds of the Geek mansion. The images were retouched on site by Marcus @ Cave.
Who Weekly is putting out a Beauty and the Geek Calender this week, using the images. Also the images are used in the show in tomorrow night’s episode (Thursday) as the contestants are judged on their modeling ‘expertise’ .
Says Burrows of the experience: “I requested a Shetland pony and a gimp suit in my props list, but was pleased with the compromise of the white stallion and chamois loin cloth”.
