Kubota: Mow and support Movember
Concerned with improving the state of men’s health in regional and rural Australia, Kubota Tractor Australia has embarked on a major television campaign in support of their sponsorship of Movember.
Created by Melbourne-based Redhanded Creative, the 45 second television commercial uses the Cranberries’ song ‘Miss you when you’re gone’ as a powerful reminder of the silent men’s health epidemic that is sweeping across the country.
“It’s an alarming fact that men in regional Australia suffer far greater rates of prostate cancer and depression than their metro cousins”, said Mark Taylor marketing manager of Kubota.
“Our customers and dealerships are primarily outside metro areas and Kubota felt Movember was a cause that reflected our corporate values and could encourage local communities to participate in one of the most important men’s health event in Australia”, said Taylor.
During the months of October, November and December a contribution from every sale of a Kubota mower, tractor and excavator will go to Movember.
Funds raised by Movember go directly to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and Beyond Blue the national depression initiative.
