Colman Rasic creates MTV Exit Music Video for UK rock band Muse to fight human trafficking

MTV EXIT (End Exploitation and Trafficking) andalternative rock band Muse,in partnership with USAID, have announced therelease of a music video that dramatically highlights the dangers and impactof human trafficking. The video will be unveiled in special preview screeningsduring the band’s Wembley Stadium concerts on September 10th and11th. 

The MK Ultra video was once again conceived by Australian advertising agency Colman Rasic. It provides insight into the realities of trafficking, in particular the trafficking of children and women into forced prostitution, forced labour and domestic servitude and provides a link to information about how people can help to end exploitation and trafficking. 

Produced for the band’s track MK Ultra from thealbum The Resistance, the video will premiere globally across all of MTV’sproperties on-air and on-line on Friday, September 17, 2010. This video isthe third in a series of award winning music video collaborations to highlightthe dangers and impact of human trafficking that launched in 2008 withRadiohead for their track All I Need, and was followed up with The Killers in2009 with a video by David Slade (Twilight: Eclipse) for the songGoodnight, Travel Well.

 This music video represents an innovative andcreative way to fuse musical content with MTV’s pro-social messaging. The MKUltra video will be released globally across all of MTV’s platforms in 168countries. It has the potential to reach more than 500 million householdsworldwide, delivering a powerful message to audiences about modern day slavery.
