Lavender hires Byrnes from Saatchi Design

Independent communications agency Lavender, Sydney has appointed Samuel Byrnes as senior brand designer. He joins the agency from Saatchi Design Sydney where he picked up awards at D&AD, AGDA and New York Type Directors Club.
His appointment follows that of Didi Sutisna in the newly created role of head of planning last week, boosting the agency’s head count to more than 90. The agency’s client stable includes Westpac, Microsoft, Ikea and News Limited.
