A happy Aussie/Kiwi Scene in Cannes

Around 300 Aussies and Kiwis are here in Cannes this year, a third of whom are actually registered. They’ve already met up at the News Limited welcome cocktails on Monday night, as well as on the Carlton Terrace and the infamous Gutter Bar later on each night.
There’s also a large contingent from Asia, with most networks sending their top people, a good indication that the dreaded GFC is over, at least in Ad World.
Today a select 50 Aussies and Kiwis will head up to the fabulous LaColombe d’Or garden restaurant in St Paul de Vence for the annualCB/FBI Legendary Lunch, with a few extra cases of their fine roseshipped in to help us celebrate the two Grand Pix so far won by OZ/NZ.
Later, the gang will no doubt stagger into Morrison’s Irish Bar to watchAustralia versus Serbia, so hopefully the CB camera will keep clickingwell into this evening.

Bang! Love it!
Lucky bastards
Is that the famous cougar tamer with his vice-like beer grip, prowling stealthily in the background of the Craig Davis, Belgio shot?
What’s a cougar tamer, and where can I get one?
I hope it’s raining over there. Pricks :o)
