Nigel’s recipe for a happier, more fulfilled life

Y&R Brands CEO and best selling author, Nigel Marsh, charts our ongoing quest for work-life balance at the recent TEDx Conference in Sydney with an opening salvo from St Benedict. “Pause you wretched weaklings and take stock of your miserable existence”.
Marsh went on to chronicle his ideal day (lots of sex and six hours at the desk) with the reality (walking the dog, topped off with James and The Giant Peach). See his recipe for a happier, more fulfilled life here.

I think one of the major ingredients for a happy life would be taking a fucking gigantic salary from WPP to be a CEO.
That helps a lot.
Honest, thought provoking stuff.
A lesson for all of us here.
So they don’t do last minute pitches at Y&R Sydney anymore? Oh wait, he meant a better work life balance for himself. Nobody mentioned anything about his staff having a life.
Nice to see that not all admen are total wankers
Wants to spend time with his kids? Have the odd shag?
Yes please
fuck off. if you need an adman to tell you how to lead a happier life then you really don’t have much hope.
I’d be happier if George Patterson Sydney was a good agency again.
I’d be happier if DDB Sydney didn’t keep ripping off other people’s ads and making them Australian Tourism Ads…that would be a happy moment….
