Entries to APMA Star Awards close Wednesday

Picture 1014.pngWith entries for the 2010 Australasian Promotional Marketing Association (APMA) Star Awards closing this Wednesday 31st March, it’s time to crank it up and get your submissions in.

 

An integral part of the APMA’s calendar, the Star Awards honour the year’s most outstanding promotional marketing campaigns. Designed to generate both industry and public recognition of excellence in the area of promotional marketing, the awards are open to APMA member and non-member agencies throughout Australia and New Zealand.

“We are expecting a record number of entries in this year’s Star Awardsfrom both APMA member and non-member agencies, including a growingnumber of submissions for the experiential category. We are alsolooking forward to seeing entries for our new social marketingcategory,” said David Lo, APMA chairman. 

 

“There is stilltime to get involved and showcase exactly what your agency can deliver.We know most agencies are under the pump like never before at themoment, so we expect entries to flood in right down to the deadline. Iencourage any agency that hasn’t already entered the Star Awards to revup and get an entry in. It’s not too late and you know you will hateseeing your competitor up there on the podium on awards night claimingan award you think you could have won,” said Lo. 

 

Followingjudging by a panel of respected marketing professionals, Gold, Silverand Bronze category winners and the overall Grand Prix winner will beannounced at the Star Awards to be held in Sydney on 1st July, 2010. 

 

AllAPMA Star Awards winners will be eligible to compete in the highlycoveted MAA GLOBES for the Best Promotional Marketing Campaigns in theWorld, held in the USA in October, 2010.
