TBWA put in a solid creative performance in 2022, with several campaigns seen and noted.
Notable work included MyCar ‘Return Plates’ and ‘Twitch’, Tourism New Zealand ‘Secret travel agents’, Melbourne Writers Festival ‘Written by… visualised by AI’, Consent Labs ‘Classify consent’, Kellogg’s ‘Gut Bacteria Reef’, Quickbooks ‘Makes me the master of accounting’, Continental Tyres ‘Bald stars’, The Vodka Cruiser Solo project’, Contiki ‘The 60s suitcase challenge’, Vicinity Galeries ‘NFTree’ and Woody Cola ‘Woody & Cola’.

TBWA was the first agency in Australia to use AI imagery in a meaningful way, in a powerful campaign for the Melbourne Film Festival, which made the front cover of the November 2022 issue of Campaign Brief.

New business wins included Kraft Heinz, Amazon Prime Video and Pernod Ricard, which contributed to $350m billings, revenue up 20% and profit before tax 23.5% year-on-year, with an impressive 88% staff retention rate.
