The Work 2022 Contenders: Enigma

Campaign Brief recognises and showcases the great work that is being produced in the region with The Work 2022 Contenders…

Kennard’s: Ken Oath
Enigma
Aussie vernacular, it’s a real beaut. It’s ingrained in our DNA. So, why not use it when talking about one of Straya’s most beloved brands. Introducing Ken Oath, two simple words we used to create a powerful brand platform for Kennards that captures their ambition to deliver Australia and New Zealand’s best customer service. Now in its second phase, Ken Oath is wildly successful and widely shared across multiple channels. The fact that there’s over 150,000 Ken Oath bumper stickers proudly adorning customers vehicles and machinery shows just how much they bloody love it. And so do their own staff. The in-store and internal comms proves how a strong idea can be embraced by an entire business. Are we only just beginning? Ken Oath!

University of Newcastle: Here Here
Enigma
The University of Newcastle has a lot of incredible stories to tell that deserve to be heard. So, we launched Here Here, a new brand campaign.
By creating a unique storytelling ecosystem we were able to bring numerous elements together to deliver powerful and emotional stories such as; Preserving Indigenous Languages, Saving Our Endangered Frogs, and Tackling Concussion in Sport.
Each story appeared across a range of channels that were seen, heard, and shared all over the country, putting The University of Newcastle on the map, and celebrating its achievements, ambition and impact across the region.

Spotify Wrapped: New Normal
Enigma
NFTs, water pistol baptisms, Squid Game, Facebook becomes Meta. Yep, 2021 was weird to say the least. And it only got weirder when we unpacked our listening trends for Spotify Wrapped or as we like to say, Totally Normal for 2021. To bring to life the weird and wonderful ways we listened and lived, we created memorable content across multiple platforms that celebrated Australian and Kiwi artists, creators, and the cultural moments that shaped us in one of the most bizarre years in human history. That’s a wrap on Totally Normal for 2021 – our most successful AUNZ campaign to date.

Newcastle Permanent: Not bad
Enigma
We don’t expect you to entirely understand this campaign. Well, unless you’re from Newcastle. Like our client, Newcastle Permanent. Right now, they’re in the midst of a fierce battle with the big 4 banks to hold their position as the leading banking institution in Newcastle and the Hunter Region. So to help strengthen their connection to local customers, we used their ‘Not Bad’ creative platform to create a hyper-local campaign that could only be understood and appreciated by the locals themselves. Now that’s not bad.
