World Wide Mind’s Simon Davidson creates film with Warren Brown for Special Olympics Australia

World Wide Mind Director, Simon Davidson, recently collaborated with founder and former ECD of BMF, Warren Brown to create a short film for Special Olympics Australia, to share their inaugural Dream Ride story.

Special Olympics Australia provides people with an intellectual disability a chance to achieve their personal best. Almost 600,000 Australians have an intellectual disability. Another child is diagnosed every two hours.

Dream Ride is an annual event to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics Australia.

Says Michelle Parker, executive producer, WWM: “It was an inspiring project to be part of. Davidson is renowned for his stunning ‘Burnout’ series about Australia’s Summernats Festival, a celebration of high-octane street machines and the people who love them. Dream Ride and its classic cars might seem the polar opposite of Summernats but Davidson is accepted equally in both worlds, united by a passion for cars.

Says Davidson: “Compassion and acceptance are easy words to say, much harder to put into practice. Working with the athletes, families and volunteers from Special Olympics was a privilege and a humbling experience.”
