Elliot_Headshot-Crop.jpgAustralian expat and co-founder of Not Impossible Labs in Venice Beach, Elliot Kotek – the recipient of last year’s Cannes Titanium Lion – will be a featured speaker at SXSW Interactive.

Kotek, whose company won a Titanium Lion last year at Cannes for Branded Content, will be talking about the crowd-solving global health issues, open-sourcing the solutions from world-wide geeks and rattling the cage of multi-national insurance companies.

Kotek will also touch on the branded online content Not Impossible Labs creates and how the company shares these stories on social media, and gets brands like Intel and HP to underwrite them.

Originally from Melbourne, Kotek wants to make the word “impossible” obsolete when it comes to global health issues and is creating innovative, award-winning and life-changing content.

Some of Not Impossible Labs’ projects to date include:

1. Project Daniel (3.5 minute clip) — recipient of last year’s Cannes Titanium Lion amongst other accolades. A project done with the backing of Intel.

2. Don’s Voice (6 minute clip) — currently going viral with more than a million views in less than 2 weeks and media impressions of more than 10 million eyeballs. Done with the backing of HP.
